Leak detection is a specialty,

separate from general plumbing.

A lot of people call a plumber first, and that’s a fair place to start. Finding a hidden leak takes its own gear, though: pressure gauges, acoustic ground microphones, thermal cameras, and the time to use them properly. If a plumber couldn’t find it, this is the part of the job we handle.

FAQ

Leak detection services: common questions

What’s the difference between a plumber and a leak detection company?

A plumber installs and repairs pipes and fixtures. A leak detection company finds where a hidden pipe is leaking. Plumbing leak detection is our specialty, so the repair starts from a marked spot instead of a guess.

Do you serve both LA and Orange County?

Yes. Our main office at 9941 Canoga Ave in Chatsworth covers Los Angeles County, with the San Fernando Valley as its core area. The office at 18100 Von Karman Ave in Irvine covers central Orange County, from Tustin and Costa Mesa to Newport Beach. See leak detection in Irvine for the cities we reach from there.

What do I need to tell you when I book?

The address, what you’ve noticed and when it started. Tell us if the bill changed, whether the meter moves with everything off, and if there’s a pool or sprinklers. For a rental or HOA property, say who can give us access.
